In consultation with a client, interior designers organise all the fixtures and fittings, provision of services, and alterations to the architecture necessary to realise the wishes of the client. In accomplishing this, various aspects have to be taken into consideration, such as the use to which the area is to be put, the number of people working in it, the relationship between working and storage space, the architectural style to be adhered to, etc etc. They then provide detailed plans for the installers to follow, and oversee the site as the work progresses to insure that all is done according to plan.
