Graphic designers work on advertising materials, trademark development, catalogues, and all visual aids for marketing and other purposes. They work on a client’s order from the concept to the finished product, make the layout and print templates, define photo inserts and typographics. Nowadays they use more and more computers, scanners, video devices and graphics programs. Every advertising means will achieve a specific effect – mostly marketing, whether it is products or service, but it can be other things such as preventing accident or thefts. Graphic designers convert the message given to them by the clients into graphics, they try reaching the desired effect with visual means. They consult with their clients and make them suggestions.
