Clothing pressers remove the creases from clothing: this is sometimes carried out before the pieces are assembled (it is then called underpressing) as well as when the garment is finished. There are several different types of pressers: vacuum steam presses that look very much like a domestic ironing-board and iron; steam presses that look like tailor's dummies; and flat presses that press suitable items between two flat plates.
