Bakers make many different kinds of bread and croissants, rolls, cakes and a delicious and tempting variety of special high-quality sweets and pastry. They have invented many mouth-watering delicacies, and can provide anything from a sandwich snack (ham, cheese, etc.) to a complete feast for special occasions.
Bakers and confectioners do many things manually: cutting out biscuit forms, shaping the baked goods, glazing the tarts, filling, dressing etc. Machines help them with kneading the dough and rolling it out. They bake and decorate birthday or wedding cakes with creativity and skill. They also create their own specialities.
