Plastics process operators work in various areas: administration, the laboratory, production and business administration. In the laboratory, they develop new plastics or check the product to ensure it has the correct properties and quality. In the production department they plan and plot the production stages and instruct the staff. They also work in marketing and sales departments. Their work can be either of a business, technical or advisory nature.
