Librarians’ work covers all the information media. Depending upon their particular job, they must be up to date in their particular speciality and aware of all the new information available. They are involved in cataloguing the information and helping people to find the information they want. They are also involved in administration, accounting and budgeting and managing staff and resources in order to keep their department running smoothly. Working with computers is often a large part of the day’s activity.
