The car mechanic’s profession has changed a lot during the last years, along with the advances in technology in the vehicles. Modern cars contain more and more electronic components. The Motor Mechanics / Vehicle Technicians therefore use more and more computer- aided measuring and diagnostic instruments to locate malfunctions. They dismantle defective components, repair and renovate them with special tools and electronic testing instruments. After the re-installation they check that the equipment works properly. They also do maintenance work on the vehicle to guarantee driving safety and as much as possible environment compatibility.
