Brewer

Technical brewers work in a brewery where raw materials such as water, cereals, hops, malt and yeast are processed into beer. In a large brewery the brewer might be in charge of one stage of the process, but in smaller breweries the brewer will have overall responsibility. These responsibilities include maintaining the reliable supply of raw materials, overseeing the brewing process and ensuring that the quality of the beer is consistent and to the consumers’ taste.
