Bar personnel work in public houses, bars, clubs and bars etc. They provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for the clientele. Before they start work they make sure the bar is fully stocked with drinks, glasses etc: at least once a week they must take down and clean all the optics on the spirit and other bottles. At the end of the day they clean up and make sure everything is ready for the next day. If the premises are open for long hours every day, it will be required to work in shifts. In some jobs it will be necessary to have an extensive knowledge of all the different popular cocktails.
