Air cabin crew tend to the needs of airline passengers. Before the flight they clean and tidy the aircraft and make sure that all of the safety leaflets are in the seat pockets and that there is sufficient food and drink. They also prepare for any passengers who have special needs. They welcome the passengers onto the plane and instruct them in emergency safety procedures. Before take-off they insure all seatbelts are fastened and that all cigarettes have been put out. During the flight they serve meals and drinks and answer any questions that passengers may have. Towards the end of the flight they may also sell duty-free items. They administer first aid when necessary. At the end of the fight they assist the safe exit of the passengers.
