Musicians are instrumentalists or singers. They can work as soloists or work together with other musicians in an orchestra or choir. Mostly they work in special fields such as classical music, pop music or jazz. Most musicians and singers have to spend many years practising and learning their instrument, but often, especially in the field of pop music, luck can play as big a part in success as talent. Mostly, however, success depends on dedication and many years of hard work. Other areas musicians can work in is arranging, composing, or in special cases as an orchestral conductor.
