Photographer

Photographer’s work is divided into several different categories: general, advertising, industrial, scientific, police, medical and press photography. General photographers do mostly portraits and weddings, etc. advertising photographers produce work for advertising agencies, magazines, etc: scientific photographers record the carrying out and results of experimental research: police photographers mostly photograph crime and accident scenes, but they may be involved in other work such as public relations etc: medical photographers work in hospitals making records for the purpose of diagnosis, recording results of surgery or for training purposes, etc: press photographers mostly work for local newspapers and tend to specialise in sport, local events, politics, etc. Photography can be either studio-based or out on location, both indoors and outdoors.
