Carpenter / Joiner

Carpenters/Joiners work with solid wood and made-up material containing some wood. They work in all sorts of building works, scaffolding and bridge construction. Special fields are: industrial halls, factory buildings, and all kinds of temporary accommodations.
Carpenters/Joiners prepare some of their work in their workshop working to plans provided for them. On site they work often in a team to assemble the prefabricated parts. They must be very precise in their work , and a good head for heights is an advantage, as the work often demands working high up on some constructions. Fitness and the ability to withstand inclement weather are also important.
