Food Service Assistant

Food Service Assistant
Description / Description
Food service assistants are more commonly known as waiters or waitresses. They take orders from the diners in a hotel or restaurant, and advise them on their selection of food and beverage. The work calls for a large measure of patience and a pleasant and outgoing personality. Mostly, the food is prepared in the kitchen: sometimes, however, it is prepared at the table and thus requires special skills. When the clients have left they must clear the table and re-lay it ready for the next prospective guests.
