Roofer

Roofers construct, insulate and cover roofs and house facades. They work with bricks, slate, and tiles and construct the foundation on which the roofing material is laid. Installation of attic windows, snow-catchers and guttering is part of their work, as is heat insulation and weather-proofing. They also do repair and maintenance work.
There are various methods and materials to work the roof, i.e. slating and tilting, built-up felt roofing, mastic asphalting, lead sheet, liquid waterproofing system etc.
