Nursery Nurse

Nursery Nurse
Description / Description
Nursery nurses care for children from birth until about 8 years old. Nursery nurses work in creches, day-care centres, children’s homes and also in private homes. Their priority is to ensure that every child should be able to develop their full potential by planning and putting into effect work and play activities that stimulate the children to want to learn. Those caring for babies have to change, wash and feed them. Older children can sometimes be difficult and then they must consult with the parents on what action should be taken.
In private homes they are called nannies and normally stay from the birth of the child up to his third year.
